Mail your membership form along with your check to the South Gate Chamber of Commerce, 3350 Tweedy Blvd., South Gate, CA 90280.
You may also deliver your application to the office during business hours, 10:00AM – 4:00PM Tuesday through Thursday, unless otherwise posted.

These functions are designed to bring the public and private sectors together, providing an opportunity for business owners and managers to inform others about their products and services.
THE HOST WILL…
Arrange with the Chamber for date and time, usually during Lunch, Monday through Thursday.
Provide adequate space for approximately 50 people (seating for about 25).
Provide beverages and hors d’oeuvres.
THE CHAMBER WILL…
Include a printed flyer in the monthly newsletter and other publicity.
Provide ribbon and scissors for ribbon cutting ceremony.
May provide a number of raffle prizes, if one is to be held. Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for the drawing from Chamber personnel.
OPEN HOUSE & MIXER HINTS…
Schedule for a maximum duration of two hours.
Start between the hours of 5:00PM and 6:00PM.
Invite your friends, relatives and neighbors.
Thursday is the best day for an Open House or Mixer.
MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
As a member in good standing with the South Gate Chamber of Commerce, you will receive the following:
You will be presented with a Certificate of Membership to display at your business.
You have the opportunity to make a personal presentation to the South Gate Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors, during their monthly general meeting. Arrangements must be made with the Chamber’s Executive Director to insure you are placed on the agenda.
Flyers, business cards or other material announcing the opening or re-establishment of your business will be distributed to all Chamber members, city officials and various local businesses. Your business cards or other material should be made available to the chamber’s Executive Director for placement in the Chamber’s lobby.
You are welcomed and encouraged to become involved in all events and activities sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce and it’s membership.
Periodic telephonic or personal visits from the South Gate Chamber of Commerce representatives.
REMEMBER! We are here to help your business prosper. We cannot guarantee success. The business is YOURS! What you do, how you present it, and how you promote it is the key element to success. Check out your competitors. Are you compatible? Does your business attract the eye? Cleanliness and Friendly! “We Care Attitude”? Friendly greeting and welcome. Welcome them at the door, introduce yourself. Walk them to the door, in conversation, bid them farewell and give your thanks, even if they just wondered in to look around.
